The BDAA is proud to welcome a new local chapter to our community, the Sutherland Chapter, serving building designers, specifiers and industry peers across the Sutherland Shire.
To mark the launch, our very first Sutherland Chapter gathering will be held in the Venue+ room at Kirrawee Library on Thursday 23 July 2026, from 12:15pm to 1:30pm. From there, the chapter will meet in the same place on the second last Thursday of each month.
This is a relaxed gathering designed to help local building designers step away from the screen, catch up on shop talk, and strengthen our professional community right here in the Shire. Whether you want to swap notes on local council updates, discuss project workflows, or simply connect with your peers, everyone is welcome.
What to expect:
- Meet and collaborate with other professionals living and working across the Sutherland Shire.
- Hear about upcoming national events, awards and the latest news from BDAA leadership.
- A friendly, informal setting suited to casual design conversation.
